Rolfe City Council met in Special Session on October 13, 2004 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center with Mayor Cullen presiding. Council Members present were: Dreith, Higgins, Johnson, Kuchenreuther and Sandvig. Others present: Janice Young.
Motion by Kuchenreuther seconded by Sandvig to approve the agenda. All ayes motion carried.
Council interviewed candidates for the position of City Clerk/Administrator.
Discussion followed.
Mayor Cullen presented the Council with information of Iowa Code 2003: Section 362.6 pertaining to Conflict of interest, and Iowa Code 2003: Section 71.1 pertaining to Employments prohibited. Discussion followed.
In other business city employee’s compensation and vacation, time was discussed.
No further business before the council motion was made by Johnson seconded by Kuchenreuther to adjourn at 10:30 p.m. All ayes motion carried.
Next Special Meeting of the Council will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. at the Community Center to interview applicants for the position of City Clerk/Administrator.
