Snow Removal
Property owners shall remove snow and ice from sidewalks after snow has ceased to fall. The property owner shall not use any snow/ice removal equipment that is wider than the sidewalk. The property owner may be liable for damages caused by failure to remove snow and ice from the sidewalk.
- Commercial property within 24 hours.
- Residential property within 48 hours.
It is unlawful for any person to throw, push, or place any snow or ice from private property, sidewalks, or driveways onto the street or alley unless necessary for temporarily purpose to remove snow or ice.
